Dr Harte reports on One More Chiropractic Tragedy

A few days ago, I met a man, a year younger than I, who had had a stroke. It was particularly disturbing that he had a seven year old little girl. So his wife had to care more for him than the little girl.

The chiropractic tragedy? This poor man is going to a chiropractor, or, more accurately, and excuse-for-a-chiropractor. She took no X-rays, did no nerve scans, did no plan of care. Oh, but she also does acupuncture. (Why would you want acupuncture from a chiropractor? And why would a chiropractor want to do acupuncture?) The most shocking thing? This man never heard the word "subluxation." I explained to him that that is like going to the cardiologist and never hearing "blood pressure," "cholesterol," etc. Or going to the dentist and never hearing "teeth." Madness!

This madness is a tragedy. This man is getting garbage care. He thinks that it is Chiropractic, but it is not. He will derive little to no benefit from it, when he is in such extreme need for authentic chiropractic care. He will float, more and more, back to Medical Land, where more tragedy awaits.

If he had an authentic chiropractor, he would have a fighting chance. Always insist upon the real thing. Chiropractic is the detection, analysis and correction of Vertebral Subluxation Complex.
