Michael Jackson's MD on Trial: Thots of Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte

Dr. Conrad Murray is now on trial for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson died from a mixture of prescribed drugs, including one that is supposed to be used for anesthesia during surgeries. Where did he get this stuff? Wasn't the prescription of this stuff far off the beaten path of what it was supposed to be for, and what is was approved for? This is called "off-label" prescription.

If you think that off-label prescribing is limited to this case, or to crazy celebrity cases in general, think again. It is estimated that off-label represents 60% of all prescriptions. These medical guys can't even follow their own rules, their own protocols.

Then there is the problem of faulty, even phony diagnoses. This is rampant, particularly in the psychiatric field. Diagnosing two year old kids with depression? How do they do this? Diagnosing spirited boys with ADHD? Treating "depressives," where their anti-depressants don't work, with anti-psychotics? How many kids and adults will loss their minds from this, as well as other iatrogenic (physician-caused) disorders? How many will die?

How many REALLY should be on trial?

In the meantime, YOU can make your own judgments. Instead of relying on dangerous drugs to cover up symptoms (Outside-in), rely on your own G-d-given Innate Intelligence to heal you from Above-down, Inside-out. Yes, that's why you get adjusted.

If you aren't getting adjusted, call me NOW. (415)460-6527. Ask me about our fabulous Birthday Sale. You'll save a lot! It ends this Monday, October 3rd. Those of you who are Practice Members, get your friends and family in here. Let's help others to Health.

Nurses' Strike? What About Drs? Asks Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte

A huge news story is being made of the fill-in nurse (because of the nurses' strike) who made a medication mistake, and the patient died. Yes, this is a tragedy, when someone dies from a medical mistake, but THIS IS NOT NEWS.

People die from medical care, some "mistakes" and some "properly administered," every day. Some years ago, at the National Press Club, David Lawrence, M.D., then CEO of Kaiser Permanente, said that Medicine is the third leading cause of death, after heart disease and cancer. He put the death toll, in this country alone, at 400,000 a year. That's 1,096 people a day, which is like three jumbo jets falling out of the sky and killing everyone... every day.

Yet people continue to trust their doctor, their specialist, their tests, their procedures, their drugs, their diagnosis. Why? The really crazy thing is that most fail to look elsewhere, like to real health care (Medicine is, in reality, disease care)... Chiropractic.

Some years ago, there were doctors' strikes in Israel and in France. Guess what happened? THE DEATH RATE WENT DOWN!!!

Time to rethink things?

Dr Harte, Corte Madera Chiropractor, Wonders About the "Walking Foolish"

Whenever I do a health screening, I am amazed how the people who have the most blatant need for Chiropractic (at least in the popularly understood way) look the other way.

I am talking about those who are bent over, difficulty walking, using a cane or a walker, those obviously having a difficult time getting around. Of course there is a portion of these people in which there is a balance issue, directly caused by their prescriptions. Over the years, I have seen many of these people getting more and more bent, lower and lower, more feeble. Yet they will not look my way, let alone check out what Chiropractic has to offer.

These are obvious medical failures. But, it is clear that they would rather be right than to be well. In any other human endeavor, if something or someone doesn't provide success, one looks elsewhere. And you wonder why I call Medicine a cult.

Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte asks "When Do You Need Chiropractic?"

One of my practice members is struggling with an ugly case of leukemia. I wish that she had began care here years ago.

Before the Chiropractic Board police and assorted medical cultists get their allopathic noses out of joint (nothing worse than a subluxated nose, is there?), I am not making a claim that chiropractic care prevents cancer, or fights cancer. (I will leave it to the medical boys and girls to make unfounded claims.) What I am saying is that the body will function better, including resisting disease, if its nervous system is free from subluxation. If parts get the right message, they can do the right thing. If not... This is why you get adjusted. Pain relief is only a nice side effect.

Cancer generally takes years, often decades to develop. It is a long-term failure of your immune system. If your immune system gets a compromised message, how can it function properly? You can look for all the secondary triggers in the world. Get the immune system right, and the chances of cancer fade.

So, how do you know, years in advance, if you are going to get leukemia or any other kind of cancer? You don't. Just like you don't know if you are going to get a stroke or a heart attack of some weird auto-immune disease. Prevention is not Medicine's version, "early detection." There, you are already sick. How about you don't get sick?

You do lifetime wellness chiropractic care because it allows your body and mind to express Life. Simple. If you want to be looked at really weirdly, we can do a take-off from all the drug commercials. next time you go in for a medical visit, ask the doctor "if Life is right for you." He or she might suggest an anti-psychotic. Oh, well...

Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte Wonders "What Happened to Caring?"

My wife and I have been trying to get some things done in the house. We have been astonished and outraged at the poor level of service out there. I am not even talking about expertise. I am talking about the simple thing of an individual or a company caring enough about those whom they serve to treat them as they would be treated, as in the Golden Rule. There's a reason why it's "golden." And just like the value of real gold in these bad times, I believe that the value of the Golden Rule is going up as well now.

I do my level best to treat every potential and current Practice Member with every courtesy. I can tell that people aren't used to this. Some are absolutely amazed when I wait for them if they are 5 or 10 minutes late.

I believe that the Golden Rule applies to honesty as well. You wouldn't want to be told some cockamamie story by a professional, or by a company that you were considering doing business with, would you? Ah, some of the stories we were told in this last week... amazing! It goes the other way, too. Many chiropractors are so insecure that they are afraid to tell people the whole truth, including the real threat of Vertebral Subluxation Complex, including the need for enough care.

Here, you get the whole truth, with courtesy, nothing more, nothing less.

Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte Dumps on 5 Hour Energy

I know that you've seen the ads pushing "5 Hour Energy Drink." They are entertaining, but they are also misleading. When the previously sleepy person drinks the magic potion and is back doing their tasks with enthusiasm, they say "problem solved." No, just like with real drugs, all we can say is "problem covered up."

Your energy levels are the result of your overall metabolism, from the cellular level on up. Some might point to one particular thing... blood sugar, thyroid function, respiratory function, quality and quantity of sleep, mental status. It is all so complex, it is a good thing that we, individually, or The Doctor, has to figure out where your fatigue is coming from. Every function, including your levels of energy, is controlled by your brain and nervous system. When you get adjusted, and vertebral subluxation is corrected, your Innate Intelligence (which is far more intelligent than our Educated Intelligence, and a good deal more than that little bottle of 5 hour magic) will figure out what goes where, when and how.

This is why it is so common for people who are under regular wellness chiropractic care report improved energy levels to me. Simple. So, if you are "dragging your tail," or know someone who is, like on the 5 Hour Energy ads, get in here to get Life turned on, the real way.

Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte Attacks Cymbalta

Cymbalta is really being pushed in ads these days.

Two totally different sets of ads. One is for depression. Frankly, after looking up all the side effects, you mat very well get depressed. Higher on the scale than side, or adverse effects is warnings. Read it and weep. Or, find a better way. Hey, this and similar drugs are playing with the chemicals in your brain. Do you really think that this is safe, or sane? Does this get to cause? The whole "biochemical imbalance" thing is a bad joke. Your Innate Intelligence runs the chemistry in your brain, as well as everywhere else and everything else. Why not correct interference to its expression?

The other set is for chronic pain. Cymbalta has been approved for two types of pain, from fibromyalgia and from diabetic neuropathy. Ah, but the ad is targeting everyone with any kind of chronic pain. Typical. Again, why not get to the CAUSE?

While uninformed and/or bigoted people fret over the safety of Chiropractic, if you take Cymbalta, better worry about severe allergic reactions, liver failure, suicide, ad infinitum.

Use your head to free your head, and the rest of you!

From Marin: Dr Harte's Thoughts on Chiropractic's 116th Birthday

Here in my San Anselmo home, as the 116th birthday of Chiropractic concludes, I have some thoughts that I'd like to share with you.

I am from New York, the 3rd to last state to license/legalize Chiropractic, in 1967. Since I began my studies at new York Chiropractic College only 10 years later, most of my older professors were jailbirds... they had been arrested for "practicing Medicine without a license." I thought of this because I just saw some video of Dr. Reaver, THE most jailed chiropractor in history. Check it out on my facebook page.

So what did this mean, in real life? Well, graduating chiropractors in New York State could not get a business loan, since their profession was illegal. Most kept a "jail bag" in their office containing a toothbrush and an extra pair of underwear in case they were arrested.Sometimes the harassment got so bad that to get into a New York chiropractor's office in the 50's and the early 60's was sometimes like getting into a speakeasy in the 20's.

Often, the case would be that the bigger your mouth, the more often you would be arrested. Such was the case of one of my mentors, the man who developed and taught me my core chiropractic technique, Directional Non-Force Technique (DNFT), Dr. Richard Van Rumpt. Ask me about him. Besides a genius, besides full of love and a boundless passion to serve, he was a real character. Anyway, he got arrested many times. Once, he was walking down Lexington Avenue in NYC and someone said "Good morning, Doctor." He nodded his head in acknowledgement, and was handcuffed on the spot and taken away.

Before you Californians get all smug about these goings on in NYS, let me tell you the California story. Chiropractic was legalized here in California in 1922, not by the legislature, but by an initiative from the people. (Big surprise there, huh?) But, before that legalization, California jailed more chiropractors than anywhere else.

What is all this nonsense, chiropractors getting arrested for "practicing medicine without a license," when Chiropractic is, philosophically, the exact opposite of Medicine? Medicine is Outside-in thinking and practice. Chiropractic is Above-down, Inside-out thinking and practice.

When I hear someone say "I don't believe in Chiropractic," I think "What a fool!" Chiropractic is not something to "believe in" like a religion. It is based upon solid scientific principles that the brain and the nervous system runs the body, and that interferences... subluxations... alter that running, resulting in dis-ease. Correct the subluxation, and the body heals itself. On the other hand, it is Medicine that people "believe in" like a religion... no, more like a cult. Don't get mad. Take a breath, and think about this.

Chiropractic is for everyone with a spine and a nervous system. Whether you have a backache or not is immaterial. You want health? You need to be under lifetime wellness chiropractic care.

In future years, I sincerely hope that this obvious truth becomes obvious to the vast majority of people, especially parents, so that kids get started off right in life. I, and other chiropractors like me, look forward to a day when enough people get this Truth for themselves and their children that, as their genetic potentials unfold, so will that of the human species. We may very well end up with a better world. This is the Big Vision of Chiropractic.

What will YOU do to be part of this? You want change? Change yourself, and lead as many as you can to change, from Above-down, Inside-out.

Dr Harte, Marin Chiropractor, Comments on Michelle Bachman and Vaccinations

It's weird when you hear both sides of the political spectrum saying the same thing. In this case, both sides are just plain stupid.

Both sides are going after Republican candidate for President Michelle Bachman because she attacked another Republican candidate, Gov. Rick Perry, for mandating the vaccination of Texas girls with Guardisil. Guardisil is made my Merck Pharmaceuticals, allegedly to prevent cervical cancer from HPV (human papilloma virus). Some years back, I wrote an article about this in the Marin IJ.

Both sides are labeling Ms. Bachman "anti-science," and, by inference... stupid. The truth is that, on this issue, both sides are stupid, and both sides are indifferent to freedom when it comes to health issues. In the end, they believe in Big Brother in a White Coat.

Is it stupid to think that parents have the right to determine the course of their children's health care?

Is it stupid to consider that serial dosing of children with a witch's brew of questionable biological material and various neurotoxins might produce serious health consequences/

These same stupid politicians, from both sides, probably think that it's stupid to get your child checked for Vertebral Subluxation Complex.

Well, we can figure out what's stupid and what's not. Check out this exchange on my site. And check out my recent appearance before the Marin Board of Supervisors.

Dr Harte, Marin Chiropractor, Quotes Sherlock Holmes

"One's ideas must be as broad as nature if they are to interpret nature."  - Sherlock Holmes from "A Study in Scarlet"

Yes, I know the famous detective is a fictional character. But read the words again, and think on them.

Most people's deepest thoughts about so-called health care is whatever is accepted by Medicine currently... the current fads. There is no questioning, really. Oh, there may be doubts, anguish or anger about one particular doctor or another. But almost no one questions the way that Medicine works... its intents... its philosophy. And almost no one questions Medicine's safety. It is time to wake up and think!

Safety? Dr. David Lawrence, former CEO of Kaiser Permanente, said that Medicine was the third leading cause of death, after heart disease and cancer. 400,000 a year.

What is the philosophy of Medicine. It is Outside-in... drugs and surgery. When you really dare to interpret that Philosophy, you must come to the conclusion that their (Medicine's) core belief if that we are born with a deficiency of drugs and an excess of organs.

You wand a broader view of nature? You want something that makes sense. Chiropractic understands that Health comes from Above-down, Inside-out. We correct interference, and get out of the way.

"Pharmacists Gone Wild!" Says Dr Harte, Marin Straight Chiropractor

People have a LOT of nerve when they see a chiropractor advertising or marketing, and they say "Oh, you're drumming up business." Depending on the tone of voice, the inference is either that the chiropractor is some charlatan trying to cheat people out of their money, or, even more irritating, "it's so cute."

Well, people assume when they hear and see the constant barrage of "public health" messages from government agencies that these messages are actually beneficial, and beneficient of the government. This attitude even spills over to the constant barrage of drug ads on TV and in magazines. Some people even discover that they have diseases that they didn't realize that they had, like depression, restless leg syndrome, etc. At the end, there is the ubiquitous command: "Ask your doctor if Scungivex is right for you."

What is new is that pharmacies are now really pushing their drugs and their pharmacy services. Walgreen's is bragging how they check your records for drug interactions. Rite-Aid has dozens of signs, in the store and out in the parking lot, pushing the flu shot. CVS has a pamphlet, "Let's talk care, 1 on 1." It begins "You're off to the right start with your new medication." How do they know? The feature in the middle of the pamphlet is "Managing multiple medications." Now that's a gem! Then, they have a smaller pamphlet, "Save on all of your flu season needs." There's a checklist on the back. (Tissues are OK.) Realize that none of these drugs cure the flu. The first thing on the checklist, the flu shot, is a great way to get the flu! Other stuff on the list includes hand sanitizer and antibacterial hand soap. These things just make microorganisms smarter, eventually more dangerous. Of the medications, every one of these medications suppress the symptoms, which are your body's expression to fight the flu. So, you feel a little better, but you end up sick much longer.

Then there's Safeway, which has a pharmacy within the supermarket, Safeway is offering 10% off of your grocery bill if you get a flu shot. Now somebody has got to be paying Safeway to do this, right?

Drugs don't fix anything. As Jim Sigafoose says, "Drugs make you more comfortable while you are dying of subluxation."

Get to the CAUSE. Get adjusted.

Marin Chiropractor, Dr Harte, talks on Walgreen's 10 Point Check

Walgreen's Drug Stores is heavily advertising their new "10 Point" plan for prescriptions. They are making a sudden virtue of keeping records, checking for drug interactions, explaining side effects, etc. Should all of these things be done by a pharmacy? Of course. Should it have always been done? of course.

You may feel secure when you go to your pharmacy, when you take your drugs. The assumption, your assumption, is that it's all safe because "The Doctor says..." Maybe not. Read that. You will be shocked. Shocked enough to question your absolute, quasi-religious belief in Medicine? I certainly hope so. If not, you are wasting your time reading these ezines, and you will never be sensible enough to get the Big Idea of Chiropractic.

How can you expect drugs to make you healthy, anyway? If drugs are supposed to make you healthy, then those who take the most drugs would be the healthiest, right? No! How about yourself? Over the years, you get prescribed more and more drugs. (Yes, I know. You are always given what seems to be scientific reasons for the prescriptions. Well, perhaps it's not so scientific.) As you take more and more drugs, are YOU getting healthier, or sicker? Do you ever get well, or are your conditions just maintained, as you slowly go downhill? Don't make excuses. Just be honest with yourself. Do you still think that you can get well from the Outside-in?

Concerned about the environment? What do you think happens to the metabolites from all the drugs you take, after they pass through you body as waste products? Read this.

Safety? Efficacy? Do you still believe that Medicine knows all and does all, that it is totally scientific, and that Chiropractic is just for simple back pain? It is time that you questioned your cult-like beliefs. Perhaps this will help.

You can continue on, maintaining your poor health, believing in the gross limitations that have been fed into your brain. ("You're getting old." "You're a woman." "Your child will grow out of this." "There's nothing anyone can do for...") Or, you can wake up and think. You can realize that health does not come from Outside-in. Health only comes from Above-down, Inside-out. THAT is how Chiropractic works.

One of Dr. Harte's San Rafael Practice Members

“Dr. Harte is very personable and answered all my questions about chiropractic healing at our first consultation. Dr. Harte relieved any concerns/fears I had in mind from previous chiropractic adjustments that made me run for the hills. My first adjustment was easy and I felt a dramatic difference within weeks. I have made a conscious effort to change how I deal with stress and feel great about working with Dr. Harte to improve my overall health. I have felt a positive surge with my TMJ, digestive issues, prolonged respiratory concerns, and mental stamina. Dr. Harte is very gentle when adjusting areas of my body that are subluxated and pays close attention to subtle changes in my body, which I love about people in general, especially when you're placing a small amount of trust in them when it comes to your health and well-being. Dr. Harte is always up-beat and enthusiastic when you see him. It beams through him that he really loves what he does.

I highly recommend Dr. Harte”  -

Dr Harte, Marin Chiropractor Talks Auto-Immune Disease

Auto-immune diseases... lupus, multiple sclerosis, Hashimoto's, scleroderma, psoriasis, Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis... happen when the immune system is hyperactive, attacking your own tissues as if they belonged to someone else. Results of these maladies range from annoying to terrible to life-threatening.

What is Medicine's answer to most of these conditions? They have produced drugs that attack the immune system. So, by necessity, the side effects are characteristic of a very low-functioning immune system, pneumonia, tuberculosis, fungal infections, cancer. What a deal, huh? Do you really want to trade your psoriasis for cancer? This is just nuts.

What makes sense? Rather than making war upon the body, let's get down to basic biology. Your brain and your nervous system runs everything, including your immune system. If there is interference to this message. then your immune system will respond abnormally, either to excessive (towards auto-immune diseases) or to insufficient function (towards life-threatening infections and cancer).

Medicine just attacks. It hypo's the hyper, and hyper's the hypo. It forces the body to do the opposite, often ending up with a whole new set of problems.

Chiropractic does not treat auto-immune diseases. It doesn't treat anything. We correct interference, Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC), allowing your immune system (and the rest of your body), to function normally. Doesn't that make sense?

Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte Asks Why Medical Mistakes are OK

"The problem with common sense is that it's not that common."  - Mark Twain

There seems to be no sense of reality when people are thinking about, taking about, taking action in the sphere of what they mistakenly call health care.

In any other field of endeavor, some sort of result is expected. (The only other exception is politics.) You buy a car, you expect it to take you where you want to go, safely and comfortably, and for some (like myself), very quickly while not getting caught. If a particular brand of car, say a Honda or a Chevrolet, all of a sudden, resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, and the serious injuries of millions more. that company would cease to exist, and rightfully so. If you knew that there was a decent chance that you would get some weird new strain of antibiotic-resistant staphlococcus from sitting on the seat, well, you just wouldn't go in and sit down, not even for a test drive. Isn't that so?

Yes, a complete or near-complete diet of fast food will kill you, but very slowly. So, being cheap, quick and easy, millions of people just about live on this stuff, even getting their kids hooked on it. Now, let's say one of the fast food chains was found to contain formaldehyde, mercury, aluminum, a variety of antibiotic residues, latex rubber, etc, and the children that ate there frequently lapsed into autism shortly after they consumed a meal there. What would happen? Customers would disappear. The health department would shut down the chain. Lawsuits would be filed by parents, and they would all win. State and federal hearings would take place, making national news. Criminal charges would be filed against this fast food chain's executives, and they would go to jail for a long time.

Yet, whatever damage and death are caused by the guys in white coats, no action is taken. No one is even upset. Even the grotesque litany of side effects on the drug ads on TV are ignored. Why are medical mistakes OK?

Somebody gets a little sore after a chiropractic adjustment, and panic spreads throughout a whole chain of friends and family. M.D.'s, for whom chiropractors are not supposed to say anything about, will make up all kinds of nonsense, slandering the safe side of health care, perhaps to deflect attention on its own trail of blood and suffering. See. the article that I wrote in the Chronicle some years ago.

One practice member's spouse will not come in because of something that happened , or he was told happened, twenty years ago to his best friend. His friend got adjusted, and later died of cancer. The M.D. said that the adjustment burst the kid's tumor, causing it to spread, and kill. This is biologically impossible. Yet, this otherwise intelligent man believes this horrific slander, because it was uttered by an M.D.

The point here is not me venting my frustration. The point is to get you, and to get you to get everyone you know, to see reality when it comes to health care. See what is safe, and what is not. See what works, and what does not. then, act accordingly.
