I've been seeing a public health announcement on TV from the Spastic Tortecollis Foundation.
Huh? "Torte," in Latin, means twisted. "Collis" is neck. So, this is for people who have twisted necks with spasm.
The announcer says, gravely, "There is no cure, but there is help." The "help" that Medicine provides is muscle relaxers, injections into the spastic muscles, and sometimes cutting the muscles. Barbaric!
These poor folks just need to be adjusted. How much simpler can it be?
