Marin Chiropractor Calls "Casual Chiropractors" Fraudulent

Clinical recommendations SHOULD be based upon clinical findings, reasonable goals, and proper intent, all based upon proper knowledge, ethics and a coherent philosophy.

I am sure that you have heard people say "I tried Chiropractic but it didn't work." (I have heard it far too many times.) Want to know WHY? There are many reasons, but perhaps the key reason is the prevalence of what I call "casual chiropractic." I am not referring to the chiropractor not wearing a tie, though I do.

What IS Chiropractic? It is the detection, analysis and correction of Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC),  interference to any and every part and function of your body. VSC interferes with your expression of Life. VSC is THE #1 health risk factor. That's right... not high blood pressure, not cholesterol, not family history. The #1 rusk factor is VSC. It allows chaos within, which leads to dis-ease, and eventually, disease. A straight (real) chiropractor understands that the body heals itself, regulates itself, perfects itself, from Above-down, Inside-out. Every thing that we do is based upon this vitalistic, holistic philosophy.

This is SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN BACK PAIN. Yes, we help that, but that is not the point.

So, chiropractors are not back or bone doctors. We are nerve doctors. We work with the nervous system, THE master system. What real chiropractors do is life-enhancing, even life-saving. THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS. There is no room for less-than-real chiropractors.

Now, you take the typical ill-educated, ill-skilled chiropractor who has no conception of the importance of what he or she does. Commonly, they will not do a proper chiropractic history or exam (focusing on pain, instead of VSC). X-rays or nerve scans are not even in their thought process. Gimmicks may be in their thought process, though, attacking your pain (instead of the CAUSE) with lasers, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, even those ridiculous disk decompression tables.

This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, Chiropractic. Since people go to a chiropractic for chiropractic care, and instead get third-rate physical medicine, I call this fraud.

When these lost chiropractors are so casual as to just say "Come back when it hurts," or "See you in six months." They often recommend only two or three visits, whatever the managed car company allows. I have even heard of the marketing tactic "Come see me. I will see you on your terms." Could you imagine a surgeon saying that?

Further, could you imagine a surgeon dropping procedures to make a three hour operation 15 minutes?

The real thing... straight Chiropractic... is worth time and money. It is about how much Life you express... or not. Everyone you know (including yourself), needs to get checked for THE greatest threat to your health, so that you can have the best opportunity to heal, to be the best that you can  be... physically, mentally, socially.

What is "Straight" Chiropractic?

I use the term a lot, but few actually ask me what it means.

Straight... the same as it is when ordering a drink... not misxed with anything.

The term was coined by Dr. BJ Palmer, the Developer of Chiropractic. At the dawn of chiropractic education, a fair amount of MD's signed up as students. No, they weren't looking to change professions. They were looking for new tools to add to what they do. The problem is that Chiropractic, specifically the chiropractic adjustment, is not a tool or a procedure, to be used in the course of any medical treatments. It is used within the uniquely vitalistic (holistic) philosophy of Chiropractic, that the Power that made the body heals the body, and, so, Health only comes from Above-down, Inside-out.

Since the MD's didn't understand this, they ended up adding, or "mixing" all kinds of thins to the adjustment... hot, cold, electrical stimulation, traction, etc. They totally missed the point. BJ called them mixers. The chiropractors who practice like this are mixed up, for sure. They truly miss the point.

Get your Chiropractic straight

What do you think?
