A Great Man Passes, by Dr Harte, Corte Madera chiropractor

A great man just passed away, off to that great Adjustatorium in the sky. Reginald Gold, D.C., known and loved by principled chiropractors, worldwide, simply as "Reggie."

Reggie was little known outside of the profession. (In fact, he was little known by the, sadly, huge segment of the profession who have abandoned principles in a vain search for societal acceptance.) It strikes me as odd who is so well known in our society, and so publicly mourned... Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, etc. Yes, they had their musical talents, and they entertained us. But they never saved anyone's life. No one's life would have been different if they never existed. And what kind of example were they? They were all drug addicts, that died as a result of their own vile habits. They were not heroes in any sense of the word.

Reggie, on the other hand, saved uncounted tens of thousands of lives over decades. How? First, he was a chiropractor. He was a real chiropractor, a straight chiropractor, who knew that his sole purpose was to detect, analyze and correct vertebral subluxation, THE #1 threat to health. This makes the chiropractic adjustment THE #1 best thing that you can do for health. He understood that health does NOT come from Outside-in, like drugs and surgery. He understood that health comes only from Above-down, Inside-out. He began his practice in, I believe, the early 60's, in Spring Valley, New York, back when Chiropractic was illegal in the State of New York.

Reggie taught Chiropractic Philosophy at my alma mater, New York Chiropractic College, until they decided to go down the allopathic, medically-oriented road. They wanted him to still be on the faculty list so that they could use his name. They just didn't want him to teach the real word of Chiropractic anymore. he quit. Over time, Reggie was banned from many chiropractic colleges, so he spoke off-campus, and the students came. That is how my wife and I first heard him, back in 1977. At the time, he had long hair, huge mutton chop sideburns, and he wore turquoise jewelry all over. For my birthday that followed, my wife got me a big, clunky Reggie turquoise bracelet, which I wear to this day.

You have read my reports and thoughts over the damage that the chiropractic colleges have done, and especially the damage done by our accrediting agency, the CCE, the Council on Chiropractic Accreditation. We call it the Council on Chiropractic Elimination. Three decades ago, Reggie founded his own chiropractic college and a new chiropractic accrediting agency. Eventually, they were both crushed by the powers that be. But that effort serves as an example in courage, and example that we straight, principled chiropractors follow today in combating the CCE and various other destructive, fraudulent forces.

Over the decades, thousands of lay people and chiropractors have heard the message of Reggie, that the Power that made the body heals the body, and that everyone... anyone is always better off with less or no vertebral subluxation. He always challenges people to bring in their kids and their grandkids so that their light can be turned on.

Reggie has taught and inspired thousands of chiropractors, including myself. What those chiropractors have taught others, and what those chiropractors have done for others in terms of correcting vertebral subluxation, have improved millions of lives, and undoubtedly saved tens of thousands.

Reggie has made his mark upon the chiropractic profession, and thus, upon the course of humanity. He was a true hero to humanity. His love, his dedication, his passion to serve, will always be in my heart. I will do my best to honor his memory by, every single day, being the best chiropractor that I can be, and by helping my fellow chiropractors to do the same.

G-d bless you, Reggie.

Getting Well with Straight Chiropractic via Dr Harte

The more popular but plainly degenerate form of Chiropractic (VERY common in Marin) mistaken for actual (straight) Chiropractic produces transitory and boring results. Sometimes, people may get temporary relief from back or neck pain, not much better than they can get from Advil. Why? There has been no intention involving THE most serious threat to health, Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC). There has been no detection, analysis and correction of VSC. Therefore, there has been no Chiropractic.

When chiropractic adjustments are delivered properly, specifically, for the purpose of correcting VSC, it's a whole different world! Just in the last few days, I've been told that an ankle that has been swollen for the better part of 30 + years is better, years of constipation is far less, and, in the case of a fellow with a degenerative, fatal disease (at least according to the medics), he is not a bit worse in eight months. Over the years, people have been able to throw away all kinds of medication, from beta-blockers (for high blood pressure) to thyroid hormone to diabetes meds to anti-depressants to all manner of anti-inflammatories and pain killers. Besides the underlying need for these drugs vanishing, think of all the damage avoided by all the stopping of all of these drugs.

You want a little, temporary pain relief? You might do OK going to any chiropractor. If you want healing, if you want health, if you want true wellness, you go to a straight chiropractor who, through gentle, scientific chiropractic adjustments, allows your body to express itself more fully.

Marin Chiropractor Dr Harte Wonders "What Happened to Caring?"

My wife and I have been trying to get some things done in the house. We have been astonished and outraged at the poor level of service out there. I am not even talking about expertise. I am talking about the simple thing of an individual or a company caring enough about those whom they serve to treat them as they would be treated, as in the Golden Rule. There's a reason why it's "golden." And just like the value of real gold in these bad times, I believe that the value of the Golden Rule is going up as well now.

I do my level best to treat every potential and current Practice Member with every courtesy. I can tell that people aren't used to this. Some are absolutely amazed when I wait for them if they are 5 or 10 minutes late.

I believe that the Golden Rule applies to honesty as well. You wouldn't want to be told some cockamamie story by a professional, or by a company that you were considering doing business with, would you? Ah, some of the stories we were told in this last week... amazing! It goes the other way, too. Many chiropractors are so insecure that they are afraid to tell people the whole truth, including the real threat of Vertebral Subluxation Complex, including the need for enough care.

Here, you get the whole truth, with courtesy, nothing more, nothing less.

Marin Chiropractor, Dr Harte, talks on Walgreen's 10 Point Check

Walgreen's Drug Stores is heavily advertising their new "10 Point" plan for prescriptions. They are making a sudden virtue of keeping records, checking for drug interactions, explaining side effects, etc. Should all of these things be done by a pharmacy? Of course. Should it have always been done? of course.

You may feel secure when you go to your pharmacy, when you take your drugs. The assumption, your assumption, is that it's all safe because "The Doctor says..." Maybe not. Read that. You will be shocked. Shocked enough to question your absolute, quasi-religious belief in Medicine? I certainly hope so. If not, you are wasting your time reading these ezines, and you will never be sensible enough to get the Big Idea of Chiropractic.

How can you expect drugs to make you healthy, anyway? If drugs are supposed to make you healthy, then those who take the most drugs would be the healthiest, right? No! How about yourself? Over the years, you get prescribed more and more drugs. (Yes, I know. You are always given what seems to be scientific reasons for the prescriptions. Well, perhaps it's not so scientific.) As you take more and more drugs, are YOU getting healthier, or sicker? Do you ever get well, or are your conditions just maintained, as you slowly go downhill? Don't make excuses. Just be honest with yourself. Do you still think that you can get well from the Outside-in?

Concerned about the environment? What do you think happens to the metabolites from all the drugs you take, after they pass through you body as waste products? Read this.

Safety? Efficacy? Do you still believe that Medicine knows all and does all, that it is totally scientific, and that Chiropractic is just for simple back pain? It is time that you questioned your cult-like beliefs. Perhaps this will help.

You can continue on, maintaining your poor health, believing in the gross limitations that have been fed into your brain. ("You're getting old." "You're a woman." "Your child will grow out of this." "There's nothing anyone can do for...") Or, you can wake up and think. You can realize that health does not come from Outside-in. Health only comes from Above-down, Inside-out. THAT is how Chiropractic works.

Marin Chiropractor Recalls a Baby's Vaccine Reaction

With all what's going on with vaccinations, I just recalled something that happened in the office 12, 13 years ago.

I was seeing a baby, on a wellness basis. She was the happiest baby that you could imagine... never cried... almost always giggling. One day, when she was 10 months old, her mom brought her through the door. From about 15 feet away, I saw that this little baby was violently shaking, sweat was pouring off of her, and she was making the most horrible high-pitched wail (definitely NOT a cry). I asked mom if she got any shot that day. Yes, she had been at the pediatrician. She didn't know what shots.

Immediately, I checked the baby. She had a massive subluxation of the atlas, the first vertebrae, right under the skull. (Bad chemical exposure, like vaccines, can physically move bone and create subluxation.)  I gently adjusted her. Instantly, she stopped shaking, sweating and wailing. By the next day, she was tired, but otherwise fine.

If she hadn't gotten adjusted then and there, I have no doubt that she would have ended up either autistic or dead. (For you medical naysayers, don't you dare tell me that these are not symptoms of acute encephalitis, swelling of the brain.)

Something to think about. Something to pass along to parents you know.

Marin Chiropractor Talks The Limits of Exercise

Exercise, attaining and maintaining a good level of fitness, is part of health. It is one of the four Do-It-Yourself parts of health, along with eating well, getting good rest (including good posture), and good mental attitude. Then, there's the non-do-it-yourself, come-to-me part of health... the detection and correction of Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC), Chiropractic.

Note that I said that exercise is PART of health, NOT the whole thing. Many people in Marin would disagree, not out of knowledge, but out of fanaticism. You feel healthy, you feel terrific getting up at 7 on a Saturday morning to go 18 miles on your bike, or 5 Pilates sessions a week, or 3 classes at the gym every day, or doing 3 marathons a year? Fine. And I commend you for your dedication. I know that you brag to the less-disciplined exercisers, and certainly the no-exercisers how healthy you are. Well, perhaps not.

We've all heard the stories of famous athletes who dropped dead in their prime, and we wondered why. (We needn't wonder with the steroid cases.) But, CLOSER TO HOME, I urge you to do an experiment. Take a Saturday morning, maybe about 10 or 10:30, and hang out in your local Peet's or Starbuck's. Check out all of the spandexed people, fresh from running, rowing, biking, etc. Look, and listen.

Look? Some are walking with a limp, many are wearing a variety of joint braces. A good number are all bent over, their spines obviously in a state of collapse. (And you were told that exercise prevents osteoporosis.) Obviously, they are not pictures of health.

Now... listen. Listen to their conversations. As the adrenaline dies down, you will hear the same health complaints, the same talk of doctors and tests and pills and surgeries, as you would in most groups of people of the same age bracket.

In my office? I've seen serious athletes with very serious conditions. I have seen the results of old sports injuries, or rather old sports injuries UNCORRECTED, including advanced subluxation degeneration, leading to greater subluxation.

Athletes get subluxated, like everyone else. They are not immune. You can run 50 miles a week, or ride 110 miles a week, but if you have interference to your nervous system, you will have compromised bodily function. you will have dis-ease, leading to disease. AND, as your function is compromised, your athletic performance, however impressive, is compromised.

Is exercise good for you? No question. But if you are not under chiropractic care, if you are subluxated, you are not healthy. You can do better... much better.

Corte Madera Chiropractor Charges Medical Fascism

Today I was interviewed by a TV station about vaccination, focusing on the new requirement for a DPT booster for 7th to 12th graders. (Stay tuned for the details.)

I brought up how the personal exemption for vaccination is such a well-kept secret for parents. (Blame the State of California, and the school officials who "just follow orders.")

The reporter informed me that there is talk about changing the parameters of the personal exemption. Parents would be required to go talk to the pediatrician. I was asked what I thought. (Oooo, my "New York" came out here!) I said that "I think that this proposal is overbearing, vile and a tool for medical fascism."

How dare those arrogant bastards in Sacramento send thinking parents to the pediatrician to be confronted, belittled and threatened? Threatened? Yes. Many pediatricians these days will not accept a child in his or her practice who is not "fully vaccinated." (Yes, that means even those "semi-dissenters," those parents who opt out of some vaccinations and/or spread them out, will be expelled.) How many parents will fold, as they are terrorized by the Power of the White Coat? How many will fold just in anticipation? Yes, the medical establishment will begin to regain  their power if this craziness passes, at the expense of your children's health, and at the expense of our liberty. Yes, this is medical fascism!

So, in the end, how many more children will have their lives destroyed with autism, or even cancer? How many little lives will be severely impacted with type I diabetes, asthma, learning disabilities, juvenile arthritis...? How will their families be impacted? Society as a whole? All because of Big Brother in a White Coat.

Remember that Health does not come from the Outside-in, whether that "outside" be a vaccine or a pill or a surgeon's knife. Health only comes from Above-down, Inside-out. THAT IS WHY you need to get your children adjusted. That is why YOU need to be adjusted. Correct interference, so that you and your children will express Life more fully.

Corte Madera Chiropractor Talks Quality vs. Shoddy Care

Though it's happened hundreds of times, I am still amazed when people come off thinking that a chiropractor is a chiropractor, an adjustment is an adjustment. So they make their decision by looking for the cheapest guy, or, "even better," for the guy who has such low clinical and moral standards that "he takes my insurance."

Please understand that insurance is a medical invention, designed to cover medical services. Contrary to what some people think (sadly, including some chiropractors), Chiropractic is NOT Medicine. It is not part of Medicine. It is not even "alternative medicine." Chiropractic is totally separate and distinct from Medicine. Medicine is the diagnosis and treatment of disease, healing from Outside-in. Chiropractic is the detection, analysis and correction of Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC), allowing your body to heal and to express itself at a higher level, from Above-down, Inside-out. DIFFERENT.

As I said, insurance is designed for medical services. When chiropractors submit their bills to your insurance, they must "diagnose and treat" in order to get paid. They are forcing the round peg into the square hole. (Or is it the other way around?) If they don't know any better, well, they have no grasp on what Chiropractic is. If that is so, why would you want a chiropractor with no grasp on what he or she is supposed to serve you with? If they do know, could there be an ethical breach? What do you think? Does this make a difference to you? It should!

The above is about intent... purpose... mission. If you go to a chiropractor whose mission is to "crack you" every which way, without proper analysis (history, exam, X-rays, nerve scans), to whatever number of visits your insurance is paying for, you will be sorry. You will join the ranks of those who say "I tried Chiropractic, but it didn't work." NO, YOU DIDN'T! You had a medically perverted excuse for chiropractic, far from the real thing.

If you have paid out-of-pocket for a cheap chiropractor, if you didn't get the QUALITY and QUANTITY of Chiropractic that you needed, whatever you paid, you were ripped off. As I've said before, if you go to a chiropractor "when you need it," that's the same pain relief you can get from a couple of Advil. (Not a recommendation.) Some may get some pain relief from these lesser chiropractors, but no one will get correction of Vertebral Subluxation Complex. Therefore, your body remains in chaos... in poor health, as your strategy for health remains "Oh, I hope nothing shows up on my next doctor visit."

Straight... real chiropractic care means a freeing of your body and mind to express its potential. This is done with the straight chiropractor focused up the Science, Art and Philosophy of Chiropractic. I am here to change lives, and to save lives... nothing less. Chiropractic saved my life. I pass that on, every day, as best as I can!

Anything less is shoddy care. In fact, anything less, in my book, ceases to be Chiropractic. It is more like third-rate physical medicine. Your choice.

Marin Chiropractor asks: What's the Deal... Chiropractic, the Nervous System, Everything Else?

The popular conception of Chiropractic is SO bogged down in the very tiny connection with bad backs, bones, etc.

Let me make two things perfectly clear... (1) A chiropractor, certainly a straight (real) chiropractor is NOT a fixer of bad backs and bad necks, though many people with bad backs and necks are helped with chiropractic adjustments.

(2) A (straight) chiropractor is NOT a bone doctor. Closer to the truth would be a "nerve doctor." (Yes, I know that I have a lot of nerve, but that's another issue.) The deal with the spine is that it houses, it protects the nervous system, along with the skulls.

What do you care about your nervous system, unless you have something like Parkinson's or MS... something that a typical. medically acculturated person would go to a neurologist for? YOU SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM. Why? It runs everything. It is the master system, controlling and coordinating every system, organ, tissue and cell in the body. When there is interference to this control and coordination (Vertebral Subluxation Complex... VSC), dysfunction... dis-ease results, eventually disease. We're at talking CAUSE here. the root of things, bad or good.

Chiropractic is the only profession that is concerned with, tasked with the CORRECTION of VSC.

So, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdK75K9COhE&NR=1  You will, probably for the first time, have a grasp upon how the body works, far beyond what your M.D. can even conceive.

This is critical information. Share this with everyone you know, be they local or on another continent, be they young or old, be they very ill or apparently healthy. EVERYONE needs to see this.

Thank you!

Corte Madera Chiropractic Talks Back... Problems, Simple to Complex

It amazes me that, in this day, more and more people take their back problems to THE DOCTOR, who transfers them to the orthopedist. More and more submit to spinal surgery, which leads to more and more spinal surgery, and more and more problems.

I suppose this is good news for the makes of Oxycontin and other popular prescription pain relievers. I know, you've been tested, and given what seems like really scientific reasons why you have no choice. What you might do is stop and pose the simple question: Does this stuff work? In any other field of endeavor... getting your car fixed, plumbing, getting your spine adjusted... you would expect what you are doing, paying for, going through to work. Spinal surgery clearly does not in almost all cases. In many cases, it causes worse problems. You submit to the knife because the High Priest in the White Coat says so. Fugettaboutit. Use your head!

Back problems are NOT what Chiropractic is about. But most people still go to the chiropractor because of that, and most are successful. None end up with the kind of catastrophes that happen in the operating room. (Wanna compare malpractice rates?)

Going to a chiropractor if you have back pain should be obvious to all but the most medically-bigoted. You're getting vertebral subluxation corrected. That is CAUSE. The adjustment corrects cause. This is all so simple. Want somebody's bad back story? Obvious!

I know, there are all of those medical diagnoses/scare tactics, that people tend to adopt, as if they are the condition, and that only their doctor can handle it. Disk problems? So, chiropractors handle these all the time. And in my particular technique, I have the ability to adjust spinal disks, kinda like "surgery to go." "Spinal stenosis?" That is not something that you're born with, some deformity, which they lead you to believe. It is, for the most part, the inside-the-spinal-canal part of Subluxation Degeneration, which is your body's response to DECADES of Vertebral Subluxation. Why not correct the subluxation? Arthrtis? Degenerative Joint Disease? Again, the product of decades of subluxation.

You can get drugged for life, chopped on, or both. Or, you can get to the CAUSE... Vertebral Subluxation Complex. Besides dealing with the cause of pain, you can expect side effects of overall better health and vitality. Up to you.

Send this to everyone you know who is still bent over, doing the ridiculous orthopedic dance.

Corte Madera Chiropractor asks: "Is Diagnosis Dumb?

When I suggest chiropractic care to someone, and he or she retorts "Oh, I KNOW what's wrong with me," I ponder, for the millionth time, the cult-like hold that the dominant medical paradigm has on the drug-marinated populace.

This becomes worse as people become more and more trusting of technology, as if higher "tech" will create happiness, as if, in health care, the next "breakthrough" will solve their problems. The sheep-like assumption is that Medicine understands all there is to about the body, and it has all of the answers, except for those diseases and consitions for which They have pronounced that there is no answer. Like hypertension or diabetes, that "requires" a lifetime of medication, or ALS, that is "terminal."

The KNOWING of "what's wrong"... diagnosis, is, in reality, useless. To think that that "knowing" is all you need to know and to act upon is, well... not too sensible.

First off, more often than not, diagnoses are wrong. So, despite your "knowing what's wrong," you, and your doctor, are wrong. So, you will be treated for the wrong thing.

Then, most importantly, your medical treatment suppresses symptoms. It does not get you well. It does not address CAUSE... why you have what you have (no matter what you call it).

Only Chiropractic addresses CAUSE. We adjust to remove interference to your body functioning properly (VSC). Diagnosis, correct or incorrect, doesn;t come into play. Your own Innate Intelligence knows what to do. It's as simple as that!

So, you can go around wearing your diagnosis like some neurotic badge, or you can get well. Up to you.

What do you think?

The Fallacy of "Fast, Fast Relief"

Yesterday, at a seminar, I heard a really stupid thing from one of the speakers. he said that chiropractors have to get people well in a few visits; otherwise they won't come back.

The first bad thing is somehow linking clinical strategy with business. Wrong!

What does that mean, to "get people well?" It is obvious to me that, in this allopathic (medically-oriented) chiropractor's thinking, some measure of pain relief. WRONG! Pain relief is NOT the intent of Chiropractic. The intent is the correction of Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC), allowing the body to express itself properly and healthfully. Pain relief is a nice side effect.

For a chiropractor to have the intent of mere pain relief is to, in my opinion, be a failure and a fraud, for it is the duty of the chiropractor to detect and correct Vertebral Subluxation Complex (VSC). To provide "fast, fast relief" is a rip-off. Even if your chiropractor is very cheap, say $40 a visit, you can get the same relief for 53 cents of Advil. That's why I call them "Advil chiropractors."

Just pain relief? Then your chiropractor is leaving you with life-diminishing, perhaps life-threatening VSC. This is a clear abbrogation of clinical duty.

Why do so many chiropractors just do pain relief these days? Lack of proper education, lack of self-esteem, etc. A big factor is that these chiropractors purposely degrade and pervert Chiropractic in order to get paid by insurance companies who are, properly, medically-oriented institutions.

Insist upon the real thing... straight Chiropractic. If you, or someone you know, is going to the chiropractor "when you need it," that is expensive pain relief. Call me, and find out about the real thing, and how it can and will change your life.
